How to Order a Police Report

All records requests are processed in accordance with the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act (CCJRA), CRS 24-72-301, et seq. Some reports may not be released, or may have redactions as required by law.

Requests for traffic accidents, property crime and civil (non-criminal) reports can be made online using the below link or in person at 9551 Civic Center Drive (North Police entrance).

• If you order in person, cash, money order and credit card payments (no American Express) are accepted.

• If you order online, a request for payment will be sent from Paypal.

• Available traffic accident reports can also be requested from BuyCrash.

• If you were in a hit and run accident and do not know the last name of the other party, please use “Unknown” in the Last Name box.               

You should receive an email response when your request has been submitted. Please check your spam folder before submitting a second request. If you have any questions about your request, please contact the Records Unit at (720) 977-5140.

Records request for persons crimes and other records requests can be made in person or through the mail. Download the form below and submit the completed request either in person or by mail for those requests.
